Cherry tree house is, first and foremost, a home to all our residents.

We provide nursing and residential care for people experiencing a mental health illness, brain injury and neurological illness. We also provide specialist bariatric care.

All admissions are assessed to ensure that, not only do we have the skills to support, but also as to whether or not the potential resident is likely to thrive within the current community/resident mix.

We actively involve family and friends in our care planning, this ensures person centred care remains a key focus.

Visitors are welcome any time and you can enjoy sharing in our freshly cooked meals or join in with the planned activities.

• Our Primary age group is 18 years and above
• Registered Nursing team is made up of mental health, general and learning disability nurses, each bringing unique values and experiences/skill sets
• Care team and ancillary staff are all trained together so that domestic staff and catering are able to, not only complete their specific duties, but also bolster the carers in supporting escorts and immediate care.
• All staff are trained in BILD accredited non-abusive psychological and physical interventions, provided by NAPPI UK.
• Life skills development in areas such as gardening, catering and cleaning. We also actively promote use of the office phone to carry out genuine work related phone calls and provide I.T. facilities to help develop computer skills.
• A wide range of entertainment including in-house and community activities to ensure days are varied.
• Our minibus enables us to organise activities such as country walks, trips to the seaside, zoo visits, shopping, anything and everything our residents can think of.

The new Nursecall+ range for care homes provides the very latest technology for the care industry. Medicare’s iButton, offers staff attendance and identification. Medicare provides the perfect nurse call system giving both staff and resident’s convenience and peace of mind.

All enclosures and labels are embedded with anti-microbial additives to help maintain infection control standards.

Used in the Nursing and Residential environment, this powerful reporting tool supplies accurate call data analysis providing evidential reports. This gives the capability to monitor trends providing data to assist with compliance reports for inspections. This allows accountability and transparency through integrated nurse call data.
